Privacy Policy
This plugin answers mortgage pricing questions. It has no user accounts, stores no records, and never asks who you are. Everything below follows from that.
1. Who this covers
The mortgage pricing behind this plugin is provided by Loan Factory, Inc., a licensed mortgage broker, NMLS #320841. The plugin is published to the ChatGPT directory by MOSO Real Estate, a sister company under common ownership. Rate estimates, the licence they are quoted under, and this policy are Loan Factory, Inc.'s.
This policy covers the Loan Factory plugin available inside ChatGPT and the server behind it. It does not cover the ChatGPT product itself — what OpenAI collects from your conversation is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy — and it does not cover loanfactory.com or any loan application you later choose to start with us.
2. What the plugin receives
Only the figures needed to price a scenario, passed by ChatGPT when you ask for an estimate:
- Loan amount, property value and down payment
- Property ZIP code, or the city and state used to look one up
- Credit score, household income, and existing monthly debt payments
- Loan purpose, occupancy, property type, loan type and term
- Number of financed properties owned, and first-time-buyer status
3. What it never receives
The plugin has no field for any of these, so they cannot reach us through it:
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Social Security number, tax ID or any government identifier
- Bank, card or account numbers
- Credit reports — the score you give is a number you type, not a credit pull
Asking for a rate estimate does not create a lead, an inquiry, or a file at Loan Factory, and no one will contact you as a result of it.
4. What we store
No database, and no record of your request.
- Figures you provide are held in memory only for as long as it takes to answer, and are gone when the response is sent.
- Operational logs record the time, the endpoint, and the response status. Two details can appear in them: the client IP address as seen by our load balancer, recorded when a caller exceeds the rate limit; and a ZIP code, recorded when a lookup for it fails. Loan amounts, incomes and credit scores are never written to logs.
- A short-lived, in-memory request counter per IP address, used only to limit abuse.
Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
5. Who else sees it
To produce an estimate, the scenario is sent to Loan Factory's own pricing service at
loanfactory.com. That is a first-party system operated by us.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. There are no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising identifiers in this service.
ZIP-code and county reference data is derived from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and ships inside our server, so a location lookup sends nothing to an outside service.
6. Your choices
Because nothing is stored against an identity, there is no account to close and no profile to export or delete. Removing the plugin in ChatGPT stops all data reaching us. If you believe an operational log entry relates to you, write to us at the address below and we will search for and remove it.
7. Security
All traffic is HTTPS. The server holds no customer credential and no database connection. Tools that read Loan Factory account data require you to sign in first and are separate from the public pricing tools described here.
8. Children
This service is intended for adults arranging mortgage financing and is not directed at children.
9. Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
